Experience Summary
I have a bachelor degree in Business Administration, a masters in Management and a certificate in Pre-Medical studies. Based on my educational background, excellent oral and written communication skills, and past employment experiences I believe I would be an ideal tutor. Additionally, I have experience tutoring elementary, middle and high school aged children for the past four years. My areas of expertise include the following course work: Chemistry, Biology, Earth Science, Language Arts (Grammar & Reading), and Social Studies(World History, Civics & Economics).
Teaching Style
Most studies prove that learning is best achieved by a combination of auditory, visual and kinesthetic methods. I use a combination of these methods while teaching, geared towards each individuals' learning aptitude. While tutoring I encourage an open dialogue and believe that patience is of the utmost importance to the learning process. I strive for the children to not only memorize the material, but to have a thorough comprehension of the subject matter.
