Experience Summary
I have worked as an Accountant for 20 years. I have a lot of experience in working with math and computers. I have mentored and tutored students on and off for about 5 years. I switched careers 3 years ago to a high school business & technology teacher. While helping students with my classes, I have also helped students needing help in their math classes. I have worked mostly with high school youth for the past 25 years.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with high school students. Students all learn in a different way and I believe practice is the best way to master any subject. I am patient and way to make sure that each student understand and can apply what they have learned. Our motto at our high school is "Achieve Your Potential." I believe every student has the option to do that. They just need someone to believe in them. I have seen much success and confidence with students I have tutored.
