Experience Summary
I have experience in teaching others and have completed an internship grades k-4th when in College. I have taught religion classes, special ed classes and have children of my own that I have taught to read.
My volunteer experience includes the following: Rapid City Regional Hospital. Religion Education Classes. Special Olympics, Internship at Working Against Violence, Volunteers of America, Long Term Support Group, and YMCA Child Care...plus several others.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is on hands on and using lots praise for hard work. I enjoy working with others and seeing them succee. For the visual learner, they need to see things written down for it to stay with you. For the auditory learner, they hear sounds distinctly and can easily remember a song tune or lyrics; and for the kinesthetic learner, they like to learn by moving and possibly acting out things. I would have to find the persons style of learning and then apply which learning technique is most appropriate.
