Experience Summary
I began tutoring mathematics when I was still a student and this allows me to relate to the students. During the past three years I have tutored a wide range of mathematic subjects ranging from high school geometry and algebra to college differential equations. I have specifically spent the majority of my time tutoring students in college algebra. After obtaining my mathematics degree, it enabled me to gain a better understanding of math that allows me to translate such a difficult subject to students.
Teaching Style
My principle idea of teaching is that no one learns the same. Having tutored a wide variety of students taught me that I have to be flexible and adaptive in explaining the subject. This allows me to adapt to the student I am tutoring in order to help them achieve their desired goal in understanding the subject.
