Experience Summary
I am currently an adjunct online instructor for Grand Canyon University teaching Biology and Chemistry.
I am retired from Utica Community Schools in MI where I served as Science Dept. Chairperson and taught Physics for the last 17 years. I have taught all sciences 7-12 grades.
I have also 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry as a supervisor in virus vaccine production and quality control tech.
I hold a BA in Bio/Chem and a MS in Biology.
Teaching Style
My past experience working with secondary students was successful and rewarding. I received many awards and retired as, "Teacher of the Year".
I am very patient and can simplify complex concepts so that students can understand. I use a variety of approaches to get those concepts across.
I am available to help your child find academic success while utilizing my vast teaching experience.
I believe all students can be successful if given the proper tools.
I wish to continue making a difference in the lives of my students.
