Experience Summary
I have acquired a great deal of biological science knowledge during my post baccalaureate and graduate studies. Among others, I feel graduate courses in medical physiology, human gross anatomy, cell biology and vertebrae histology have prepared me extensively to teach at the collegiate level. These courses have allowed me to develop excellent study skills, as well as gain a further appreciation of the human body.
Teaching Style
As a college instructor, I realize their are many different types of learners. Additionally, substitute teaching at the secondary level in Jackson, Mississippi and in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District have allowed me to gain extensive classroom teaching experience. I feel that I can convey a sound understanding of biological sciences at many different levels. By building excellent study skills and reinforcing concepts, I feel I can strengthen each student in learning and studying confidently.
