Experience Summary
As a graduate from the distinguished Norfolk State University, I have a drive and passion to work with children. I have earned my BS in 2007, and since then have worked several jobs in the school system. I have immense communication skills, writing, and organizations skills. I am a competent. compassionate, cooperative, and committed leader. I started out as a tutor/ mentor while still in college for Elementary students. In addition, I've worked with special needs students as a one on one paraprofessional. I also tutored students grade 3 and 5 within their homes. I am very helpful and willing to take any challenges given to me.
Teaching Style
I believe in all teaching styles, especially since no one child is the same; everyone is unique and different. I am patient and considerate while providing the best education to students. My approach to teaching is hands on, and practice makes perfect. To teach is to actually touch a life forever. I actually teach children the way I would want someone to teach my own children. I also repeat and use many samples to make sure the child actually understands before moving on to the next topic or subject.
