Experience Summary
I have four years of experience in Chemistry. I tutored both high school aged and undergraduate students on general chemistry topics. In addition to tutoring, I taught two classes on Raman Spectroscopy. I was also a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Quantitative Analytical Chemistry Laboratory course where I created lesson plans and exams, as well as helped students with assignments. As an oral presenter at the 2nd Annual Georgia Nanotechnology in Infectious Disease Symposium at Emory University I spoke on the Quantitative Study of Measles Virus Strains Using Surface-enhanced Raman Spectroscopy.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with people of all ages groups. I also strongly believe I have a duty to serve as a tutor and mentor for undergraduate and graduate students. It is important to give back to the community when one is fortunate to have had the experiences I have had to date and the such experiences and training as I hope to have starting with this tutoring experience.
