Experience Summary
Currently I am a organic chemistry lecturer at a local college but I have always been an advocate of education. I have a PhD in organic chemistry and a BS in chemistry. My background has allowed me to understand a range of topics from math and science to English. I have tutored students for over 11 years and I recently was a mentor to a high school student for two years.
Teaching Style
I have loved to teach every since I was a young girl playing school with my younger siblings. Since that time I have observed several different teaching and learning styles. As an instructor, I try to incorporate several different teaching styles to accomodate the students in my class. I set high expectations for my students and equip them with the knowledge to reach their full potential. I believe education is the key to success and everyone should have equal access to the opportunities education can provide.
