Experience Summary
As is evidenced by my background, I hold education as one of the most valuable of commodities. Throughout life, an education is something that can never be taken away. It is a form of wealth that stays with you. I have two Master's degrees. One in Accountancy and one in Business Administration. My undergraduate education focused on International Studies and French. As an undergraduate student, I tutored English as a second language. My experience in French is extensive. I studied abroad at the American University of Paris, and I have spoken French since I was a child.
Teaching Style
Teaching has been a passion for me for a long time. I believe that if one is to effectively learn a language, one needs to get a close to immersion as is possible. Therefore, reading outloud, pronunciation, listening, and speaking are focused on. Although grammar and spelling are important, so is comprehension. Through visualising a sentence instead of just a word, one has a better chance at understanding, and will learn vocabulary more quickly. Students of all ages will benefit from my method.
