Experience Summary
As a graduate of the University of Colorado with Degrees in a BS in Mathematics and a BS in Civil Engineering, I was very much driven to a high level of excellence in education and further learning. Additionally, I spent twenty years in the USMC, achieving the rank of Major, which gave me much self esteem in professionalism. I held several positions in the Military including being a Fixed Wing Pilot, Battalion Administrative Officer (Adjutant) and Intelligence Analysis Officer with a Reserve Unit in Denver for over 6 years. With my education and experience on numerous Engineering Projects along with the military experience, I have instructed people in various facets under my guidance both as a Project Engineer and a Marine Corps Officer.
Teaching Style
I enjoy instructing younger people on areas which I worked very hard to achieve the level I wanted for myself. I am very patient, easy going and considerate of all student needs. I believe that all children can achieve the goals or dreams they may be seeking, if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences. Whether I am instructing a Grade School or High School Student, or a Junior Officer in the Military, my approach is still the same, which can make a world of difference in the learning experience - teaching through discovery and provide a constructive approach through learning. I strive to make a positive difference in all of my student's lives.
