Experience Summary
My family life has always been centered around teaching as my father was an educator for 30 years. I received a BS in biology from Florida International University and also hold a national pharmacy technician certification. My work in pharmacy has given me a deeper understanding of material learned in the classroom through real world work experience. I have tutored fellow students as well as coworkers and have excellent command of my communication skills. I am very confident in my knowledge of the subject matter and ability to communicate it to students.
Teaching Style
I believe one of the most effective ways to communicate information is finding a way to relate it to something the student is already passionate about. Finding and creating that bridge provides the student necessary confidence for success and is also a very rewarding experience. Any student is capable of learning material given the correct environment, and it makes me ecstatic to facilitate the experience and see a goal successfully achieved.
