Experience Summary
I graduated from New York University and earned a bachelor degree, BA in Biology. I also minored in Psychology. After graduating, I started my career in the educational field. I have been a Science teacher for 25 years. I have taught Biology, AP Biology, Forensic Science, Chemistry, Health, Microbiology, Earth Science, and Physical Science. I have also tutored many students in the forementioned subjects, mathematics, and basic physics.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and have a passion for it. I enjoy helping students understand the intricacies of science. I make it relevant to the student's life. Through my tutoring I also show how I need to understand and learn the different aspects of science. Science is an evolving and dynamic subject, which we need to try to understand. I use a constructivist approach to learning besides making it a relevant aspect in their lifes. Discover is the best way to learn in science. Anyone can tell students facts and numbers, but having them discover the significance of those facts and numbers is the greatest learning tool for any person.
