Experience Summary
As a graduate of BYU-Idaho I have learned the importance of education and how blessed an individual is who pursues it. I was able to take numerous courses dealing with reading, writing and psychological development of children. I have been been able to work with children and help with areas of struggle since last fall. The ages being between 4-14. I am currently a therapist for children and help them with day to day goals that they are trying to accomplish.
Teaching Style
I love interacting with children and teaching them to the best of my ability. I know that each child is unique and you have to truly understand the child and the stresses and concerns they have with learning, before you can teach them. I am very patient, kind,and understanding. I want the child to know that he or she is capable of learning anything and will allow them to reach that potential. I believe in hands on learning and being active. This way the child can remember what they learned more easily, but I am willing to teach in any way that will suite my student. I want them to understand and be able to explain what they are learning to others.
