Experience Summary
I am a native Russian speaker and I hold a teaching degree from Russia with extensive courses in linguistics, philosophy, political ans social science and mathematics. I hold an MBA degree from Georgia State University. I pursued several opportunities to tutor undergraduate students in various subjects including statistics, finance, sociology and political science while obtaining my masters degree. I have soon realized a strong passion for teaching and have recently decided to pursue a teaching career. I am planning to enter a PhD program in the Fall semester of 2011 to become a college professor.
Teaching Style
I believe that every child requires individual approach; however my general teaching style for quantitative subjects is focused and systematic. Understanding and learning quantitative subjects involves great deal of organization and regular application. Nevertheless generating child’s interest in the subject is essential to create a relaxing atmosphere and make hard effort seam easy!
