Experience Summary
My educational background is well-rounded, which prepared me to tutor in a variety of subjects. For example, I demonstrated solid grammar and research/writing skills in order to successfully complete my B.S. in Human Resources Management and supplemented this degree with college coursework in Economics, Accounting, and Business Statistics.
In addition, since 1998, my tutoring experience has included a variety of areas: Basic mathematics and reading at the elementary level, High school mathematics and English, GED test preparation classes, College-level Algebra, Resume-writing and interview skills seminars, and Continuing Legal Education classes for lawyers.
Teaching Style
I love coaching and facilitating the learning process for students of all ages. As a tutor who has worked with elementary school children, teenagers, college students, and adults, I know that each person learns in his or her own way. I provide a focused approach that is combined with patience in order to arrive at the desired outcome – a positive, successful learning experience for the student.
