Experience Summary
I am a recent graduate of West Chester University with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Currently I am a part time substitute for Central Bucks School District, and hope to be a tutor in my spare time. My tutoring experience includes tutoring a girl who primarily spoke Spanish but was fluent in English and teaching her to read and write. I also help students when I substitute in the classroom setting with their classwork.
Teaching Style
I believe that each child has their own individual style of learning. Every child learns in a different way and therefore can definitely benefit from individual attention. The best way to help children learn and grow is by gradually encouraging them to love to learn. One of my techniques as an educator is to search for ways that each child can connect with their work and their learning so that they begin to want to learn.
