Experience Summary
With more than nine years of business experience in both Finance and Operations management and five years as a homemaker raising my four children, I have a very diverse level of experience which I will provide as a tutor. I have developed a complete battery of skills in English, Business, Mathematics and Social Sciences. Currently emerging from several years of medical disability, I have a lot to offer as I begin my return to the workforce. Tutoring is the next step on my journey. I will soon begin my educational pursuit to move to a teaching profession.
Teaching Style
Effective teaching requires goal-setting and patience on the parts of both the instructor and the student. We are a team! I am simply there to facilitate their education.
Most of what I teach is enhanced by my approach to helping the student learn. I seek to ask them to "teach" me by offering questions to them. This has proven very effective once the foundational background is established.
My commitment as I approach a teaching opportunity is my belief that students can learn anything for which they both plan and focus when they are encouraged to believe in their ability to succeed. It is my job to help this to come to fruition.
