Versatile Hands-on Tutor for all Age ranges

Throughout my academic career, I have done in-class tutoring in exchange for credit. I have also helped my family members, neighbors, and friends to study, complete homework, and even do reports. My range of subjects is very versatile, anything from Oceanography, to Intercultural Communications, to Culinary Arts, and even 3D sculpture and design. Of course outside of these elective type courses, I have a 3.7 GPA in my general education, including Math, English, Science, and Social Studies. I attended a charter high school, where we took outside the box classes that met the state regulations. I am a registered Professional Civil Engineer and have worked managing construction projects around the world. I am proficient in math and english and enjoy showing others how to improve their lives through education. Albeit I have not taught in a school system, I have taught my own three children in our own home school.
I really like children and love seeing the light go on when they finally comprehend the area of study that has been troubling them. I want children to learn to think for themselves in problem solving, not just go through the steps to get to an answer. Learning can and should be fun.
