My comments on tutoring Speaking : There is a saying that goes like this-Open your mouth so I can see you. How we speak is just as important as what we say. I have helped my students become more comfortable with their speaking, both in English and other languages. I understand the fears of public speaking. I have performed stand-up comedy. I was moderately successful. Several of my business students were complimented on their speaking skills at various conferences they were speakers at. I know I can improve the speaking skills of most people.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love helping people achieve their dreams and goals and I have high expectations for all children and adults I am teaching. As an educator I encourage my students to believe in themselves and convince them they have the ability to be successful in whatever they want to achieve. One of my students was struggling with C's and D's for grades and he was getting extra help but he was frustrated. Once or twice a week we would chat about it. A strength on which I have always prided myself is my ability to relate complex concepts with useful analogies and from different angles. I never underestimate a child's ability to learn something, so long as it's in a way in which they understand it. Curriculum development is also important. By that, I mean the creation of illustrations, tables, lists, acronyms, heuristics, and flash cards to aid a student in their thirst to learn. I am patient and fun, and working with children is something that has always animated and invigorated me.
