A Little Bit About Me...

I teach Sign Language the way I learned it. Off of a website used by the American Sign Language University and used by many Sign Language professors around the country.
I have been studying American Sign Language for almost 2 months now, and I am at a proficient level. I love Sign Language, it is a very interesting and unique language to learn. Practice practice practice! Asl is not a language you can learn from a book. It is concept based and requires a lot of time.
I obtained my interpreting/transliterating degree from Columbus State Community a college in 1999, established my own interpreting agency one year later. I have been a professional interpreter for 15 years and I am nationally certified. I have interpreted in every situation imaginable and then some! However, I chose to marry a Canadian and instead of finishing my degree, I moved to Canada. Over the years, I have periodically used my Spanish while travelling to places such as Honduras and Panama.
