I have been a substitute teacher for about 10 years specializing in math & physics. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering plus 20+ years of maintenance/engineering experience. I incorporate practical examples in teaching to give students in depth knowledge in a practical sense. I gather my examples from my varied career experiences from the Military, Aircraft, Engineering, Manufacturing/Maintenance & Computer fields. I sporadically tutors students in my specialty. Since I am an engineer, I teach Math orienting towards its application. In such way, I motivate people by stating application behind any math . I believe examples and theories are necessary for students to understand the material; moreover, challening tests are also necessary for them more exciting about Math and to know the world is not that easy.
