I am a registered Professional Civil Engineer and have worked managing construction projects around the world. I am proficient in math and english and enjoy showing others how to improve their lives through education. Albeit I have not taught in a school system, I have taught my own three children in our own home school. I really like children and love seeing the light go on when they finally comprehend the area of study that has been troubling them. I want children to learn to think for themselves in problem solving, not just go through the steps to get to an answer. Learning can and should be fun.

I love helping people achieve their dreams and goals and I have high expectations for all children and adults I am teaching. I have experience tutoring anything from phonics to college level writing. I taught preschool for a year and a half at the Lion and Lamb Christian Preschool in Reno, NV. I have also tutored at the UNR Writing Center (when it still existed) during the Fall semester of '08. Since October 2008 I have tutored at the Reno Huntington Learning Center where I teach phonics all the way up to SAT and ACT Verbal test prep. While at UNR I took an upper division English Class entitled "How to Tutor an English Writer." I also have a minor of Spanish from UNR.
