I have experience working with students from Kindergarten through adult education. My earliest teaching experience was with primary grade children (K-2) in an inner-city school district. I taught basic skills to incarcerated men in a NJ Correctional Facility. I have experience working with first generation college students in need of remedial coursework before advancing to college level courses. I'm currently working (part-time) teaching GED writing and math, 2 evenings a week.

My comments on tutoring Composition : In order to improve writing compositions one must be taught the principals of writing. I have several years experience and can help a student to improve his/her writing.

I have more than 20 years teaching and tutoring at the junior high and high school level of student. My students have improved their SAT scores and Classwork has allowed them to grasp literature,writing skills, and overall reading skills. A recent student improved 160 points on the SAT verbal test. Composition is one of my top subjects! Teacher writing is my favorite thing to teach, as it is a chance to see a student's creativity and uniqueness in their work.
