I have been employed with my internship for approximately 2 years now. The company is called ChAMP (Children Achieving Maximal Potential), I work with autistic children in their homes. I follow the child's treatment plan. I work on daily living skills, personal hygiene, physical activities, practice email, puzzles/games etc. I like to have a schedule written out so that the child knows what will be expected of him/her that day. I am very organized and like to complete tasks in a timely manner. I like to address all the questions the child may have during a lesson, I try to explain things in several different ways so that child will grasp the concept in a way that makes sense to him/her.

I am a 17 year old female who has so much talent to share with the people around me. I'm apart of a community service club, I play a variety of instruments, and from my experiences I've gained a lot of wisdom. I may not be certified with a piece of paper to show, but who said that in order to spread knowledge you had to have graduated and attended college? The purpose of teaching is to help others understand something that is known as true. I was on honor roll in high school on a consistent basis. My best subjects were English and Writing. I enjoy teaching students who are eager to improve their skills.
