Experience Summary
I have been teaching in special education institutions for the past 13 years, working with children having physical, mental, emotional, and/or learning disabilities. My degree in music has provided me work in other areas of performing arts including dance, acting, and singing. I have also been assisting with reading and teaching math to elementary and middle school aged children.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with all children. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am available to help your child find academic success. I am patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible. I am a firm believer in teaching through discovery and in providing a constructivist approach to learning. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences. A few good educators can make a world of difference in a child's education. I strive to make a difference in all of my students' lives.
