I'm a college student double majoring in criminal justice and psychology. I've taken through calculus I in high school and I was considering a math major. I've tutored peers, siblings, and younger students in math, forensic science, psychology, and biology. I'm still learning, myself, but I got all A's in my math classes in high school.

I then pursued a doctorate and was active in many peer study groups where were tutored each other in neuroscience and organic chemistry. Tutor for Regular Elementary and Special Education

I have recently retired after 30+ years as an elementary special and regular education teacher. For the past 15 years I have also worked as a tutor for the city of White Plains. I have done extensive private tutoring for the past 20 years. For 17 years I worked as an elementary special education classroom teacher at New York Hospital in an out-patient day treatment program. This program involved elementary school age children who displayed severe emotional and academic difficulties and were unable to function in a regular school setting.

I moved to California with nothing more than a suitcase and a desire to see new places. While I was there I was fortunate enough to work with a group of formerly incarcerated young women who were affiliated with the Center for Young Women’s Development. I created a writing workshop geared toward teaching these women to use their voices and to use writing as an outlet. When I returned to Connecticut, I enrolled in the Internship program at the University of Bridgeport and I have just completed my second Master’s.
