There is nothing more rewarding than to see a student's face, no matter their age, light up, and to hear them say, "I get it!". That is one reason why I enjoying teaching and tutoring. My job is not to just relay information, but to prepare my students. I can assist younger students by providing them with rich language experiences and much needed skills. I can prepare students to read and understand different kinds of texts, to express themselves with their words and their voices, to take different kinds of tests, and to understand and answer different kinds of questions.
