A Little Bit About Me...

I have been told by my first year teaching mentor that my style of teaching is "unconventional". Although I majored in English, I had a concentration in creative writing and a minor in visual arts. I think of writing as an art, and so I use creative methods in the classroom to teach students. I believe our youth's attention span is getting shorter and shorter due to television/media and modern day technologies. As a teacher, it is imperative that you hold the child's interest.
