I am a very patient teacher and try to assess if the student is understanding all that I am teaching. I ask plenty of questions and try to get them to communicate with me and others in the group, if it's a class situation.
I taught English as a second language to adults and children in Austria and Germany while living there (total 4 years). I speak fluent German and lived in Europe for a total of 13 years. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a BA in History and am pursuing a teaching credential in elementary education. I work as a instructional aide to an autistic boy in a mainstream first grade classroom. In addition to assisting him in all his classwork I also help all the other students in all elementary subjects. We do language arts, reading, math, science, and social studies lessons everyday and I am very comfortable helping children understand all of these subjects.
I love working with elementary children and seeing their faces light up when they grasp a new concept.
