Spelling can be a great struggle for some students. I will work with them on sounding out words before spelling and giving little tests ever so often on their memory for words they learned to spell. I will work with every student on their grade level, and my goal would be to achieve at least one grade level increase. I work with the students making them feel comfortable, never making the feel overwhelmed but enough work that they are working on the assignments that I give them.
