2006-Present "No Child Left Behind" {NCLB} Independent Tutor 2011-2013 "Fundamentals Free Tutoring (NCLB) Social Services Tutor-Worked with Minority students because of my background in Social Services (using Behavior Modification to motivate students with Behavioral challenges) and I speak Intermediate Spanish. Taught Math to 5th graders at Wood Bridge Elementary. Taught Reading to 3rd thru 5th graders at Morgan Woods Elementary. 2006-2010 "A to Z Tutoring" (NCLB) Coordinator/Tutor- Contacted interested tutoring clients to make appt. to explain benefits & rules of the NCLB program if they chose to use our services. Then helped them fill out an Intake form about their financial/employment status & to explain special needs of their child. Identify the services available to help them & had parent's sign contract after explaining details to them. Tested students & made instructional outline for their learning plans. Wrote reports on student progress for the school and parents which I went over with them in a conference. Tutored children from Kindergarten until 7th grade in English & Math.
