Spelling can be a great struggle for some students. I will work with them on sounding out words before spelling and giving little tests ever so often on their memory for words they learned to spell. I will work with every student on their grade level, and my goal would be to achieve at least one grade level increase. I have some experience in tutoring in general. I have tutored fellow students who played the flute, I have also tutored fellow students on reading and spelling. I have a brother with a learning disability so I spent my entire adolescence helping him with his school assignments and helping him with his reading disability.
