I have a lot of experience in teaching and tutoring. I have tutored for about 10 years now, starting with my fellow classmates while still in school and now tutoring one-on-one, mostly for elementary-aged children. I also teach - I conduct a teenage choir, taught at a Ukrainian school for 7 years (grammar, writing, reading, vocabulary), and give individual piano lessons. My teaching style varies for each student, I try to tailor the work to how the student learns. I have been tutoring students of all ages since I was in high school. I began by tutoring my own peers in math and social studies. I would also tutor children from 1st grade on up in all subjects. Once in college, I tutored college students and younger in many fields, primarily mathematics courses. My specialty quickly became preparation for standardized tests as well as calculus because I have a unique ability to discover how each student learns and tailor the lessons to their needs.
