Experience Summary
I have a masters degree in psychology, specializing in child development. During my undergraduate studies, I minored in music and English. In recent years, I have taught music and English to both children and adults. I also have a great deal in knowledge in other subject areas, like history, religion, and even a little Spanish.
Teaching Style
Very simply, I believe that an instructor should be a facilitator of the learning process, not a dictator. The best learning is that which is done by the student him/herself through experiencing and seeing things firsthand. I strive to get to know my students and make my tutoring sessions unique and tailored to fit each individual student's needs.
