I generally enjoy using flash cards as a form to help the child grow in what ever subject they need help growing in. More importantly though to me it generally depends on the child his/herself and if they are auditory, visual, or kinesthetic learners. I have much experience tutoring young children from ages 5-14 in all of the four main subjects. It all started with my little sister when I was in High school and began expanding from their with her classmates and classmate friends and so forth bringing me to volunteer at the YMCA for young boys and girls club after school program, and I also have worked at public schools in D.C for after school programs for home work time. ACADEMY SCHEDULE & COURSES: We tutor daily, from Monday through Sunday. From Monday through Thursday, we offer group tutoring from 3pm and on. Our private tutoring schedule is individualized during the week day. From Thursday through Sunday, we offer private 1-on-1 tutoring with individualized schedules. When necessary, we stay up with each student until they have mastered their material, and on many occasions, Dr. Park has test-prepped the cramming student until 3 am. We offer tutoring not only targeting standardized exams, but also every high school subject. We tutor in Math, Physics, Chemistry, English, Spanish, and other subjects. Inquire, and we will cover it. I have a wide variety of experience and an innate desire to learn more about the world around me. I began my undergraduate degree in Political Science, but after taking a Biology course in California, became rather excited about the sciences. I have worked in a variety of laboratory settings, as well as in the field, applying the science that I have learned to real life situations and truly gaining a better understanding of the dynamic nature of the sciences.
