A Little Bit About Me...

As an undergraduate student at East Carolina University, I expanded my knowledge in the field of pedagogy and gained experience in different classroom settings. In the midst of my junior year, I taught students in an after-school art class. This opportunity gave me the chance to work with children in a formal teaching environment. During my practicum, and while teaching a summer art class, I learned how to alter my teaching style for students of all ages and abilities. From 2008 until February of this year, I taught English at a private school in South Korea.
