A Little Bit About Me...

As a teacher, I care about students. I believe that positive encouragement is the way to motivate. I worked as a private/public school teacher to provide each student that I worked with the academic/social support that was needed. I used my background in child development to motivate students to work to their potential. I have worked with students from a variety of ethnic/social backgrounds who had a wide range of ability levels. My goal was to meet the needs of the individual learning style of each student. I have tried to make a difference in the lives of children and have them move to the next level of learning, not only with the concepts and knowledge that was necessary, but with a love of the learning process.
