I also realize that sometimes the issue is motivational not a matter of comprehension. A Little Bit About Me...

As a mother of three teenagers, i decided to go back to school and fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a high school English teacher. I could not imagine myself doing anything but helping young minds grow to their fullest potential. I am highly qualified in the area of writing. My 10th grade students have an 85% proficiency rating for the NC writing assessment. I also teach Graduation Project that requires an 8-10 page documented research paper. My skills in these areas will prove highly useful in a tutoring capacity.
Being a mother of teenagers gives me an edge as a teacher. I have tremendous patience and understanding of the daily lives of young people. I learn the appropiate way to aide a student in their studies by observing their technique of solving a problem and helping them explore the problem. I show students how to break down the problem in various ways to help them better understand it. A Little Bit About Me...

Having a degree in Philosophy & Religion has many advantages in teaching. I have found to better understand a subject it is best to go and study many different resources for that subject, a macro-view. However the complicated subject is, a person who knows that subject will be able to present it in a simple concise manner. With this approach I am able to study and present a variety of subjects in a concise but exciting manner. The full grasps of studying P&R encompasses many sub fields of study : i.e. history, psychology, sociology, pretty much all the liberal arts.
