I taught GED prep to inmates at Foothills Correctional Institution in Morganton, NC. I am proud to say that even though I only worked there for just under a year, that I saw 3 of my students graduate. Tutoring differs from teaching in that "style" is replaced by method. Some of the methods I have used in the past are rhythm and music, neumonic devices, and of course, drill and practice. I have been told that I am gifted with presenting material in novel ways.
