I believe that every child has a different manner of obtaining and learning information and it is the instructor's duty to identify each student's learning style and to teach accordingly. Think of a key ring with all sorts of different keys on the ring. As a teacher you must try one key on the key chain at a time. Sometimes the first key will open the door to a child's success and other times it could be the fifth or seventh key. Teacher's need to be patient and work with their student's to best identify their learning styles and needs.

I have taught mathematics for over 23 years. In Ohio I taught at a middle school for 2 years and then at an all boys high school for 17 years. At the high school I was the math tutor and worked with the students in all areas of mathematics from prealgebra to calculus. Curently I am teaching at Wallace Rosehill High School in North Carolina. I have been there for five years and teach algebra and precalculus.
