I love to teach and help others in general. I always had difficulty when I was younger finding a tutor or some help in my studies that I could understand easily. I am a very patient and have a great sense of humor that come in handy during subjects of frustration. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been involved in assisting and helping others in education. I earned a BS in Visual Arts, Minoring in Art Education, as well as BFA in Computer Animation. In addition, I did some tutoring during my graduate studies ,turtoring incoming freshmens for a Summer Bridge Program. I taught high school classes for several years, and also worked in IT as a trainer and troubleshooter. I have lived in South Jersey all of my life. I received my degree in Accounting from Stockton and have spent most of my career in finance working my way up to Controller for several businesses. When I was laid off, I had always wanted to try teaching and I loved it. I love working with kids (I also coach baseball and football), I really get a kick out of passing my knowledge onto them and seeing their face when it sinks in.
Math to me is like a puzzle... if you can imagine the pieces in your mind, fitting them together in practice is so much easier. I am extremely patient and easy going, even in coaching, most kids gravitated to me because I could speak to them on their level. You have to explain it in a way that kids can understand. Positive feedback is very critical to let them know they are going down the right path.
