I graduated with an M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina in May of 2010. During my course as a math tutor, I’ve found one on one tutoring to be most effective. Each child presented different needs and was receptive to different teaching methods, so I would meet with them individually. I believe each child is just as likely to succeed as the next one, and as a tutor, it is my job to encourage and instill confidence in them. As I approach my college graduation, I have realized how fortunate I am to have been given the opportunity to attend college.
