I love teaching children. When we see a student struggling, a teacher should go to all ends to the Earth to make sure that student succeeds in the classroom. If students do not feel like they can succeed in the classroom, then they are going to fell like they cannot succeed in life. A teacher’s job does not stop once the school day ends. Whatever we do or say in the classroom stays with those students once they leave the school building. Teachers are planting seeds in these students for them to be able to grow in life. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught two years of middle school and home schooled my daughter. I have worked as a substitute teacher on and off for several years. My emphasis in college was English and Math so I feel very comfortable teaching either of these subjects as well as reading.
My teaching style is flexible. Students learn in different ways and at different paces. It is my job to discover how the students learn and what they respond best to. For some subjects, repetition is very important and for others a clearer understanding of the concepts involved is more valuable. I like to start with small skills and build on them.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style varies based on the child's needs. I am very adaptable and willing to provide the best method of learning for each individual child. I am patient and pay attention to the child's attitude and non-verbal cues to see where I need to adjust my teaching, even if that means stopping the session for that moment. I believe that I learn how to teach from the child.
