I enjoy learning about a person and taking on a mentorship role as well as a direct and focused editing role. I have extensive experience tutoring and mentoring students in creative writing and composition arenas. As lead teaching assistant for entry-level undergraduate Creative Writing courses at Oberlin College, I facilitated small group workshops, provided students with feedback on their writing, and wrote lesson plans designed to help each individual improve technically as a writer.
