Too often students look at teachers or adults as enemies, and I try to take a very laid-back, conversational approach when tutoring. I enjoy working with children and have wanted to be a teacher since I was in the fourth grade. My favorite part about teaching is when I see the "light bulb" go on in a child's mind and there is excitement about learning. I think every child can learn and that children need structure and guidance in the learning process.
