I am a very hands-on teacher. I try to help students by showing them how it is done and then letting them practice.
I have experience in all of the fields that are listed. Most of the skills I have acquired were either through learning them during my time at school or through doing personal research because they interested me. I have done some tutoring in the computer/i.t field as a side job. Chess has been one of my favorite things to learn. My comments on tutoring Chemistry : I wish my high school Chemistry teacher taught me additional material. I can tutor students from what a mole is? to the periodic table, chemical reactions, etc.

My teaching style involves asking the student how was his/ her problem solving experience. I work in this manner which is if students put in the effort, then I will help them no matter how much they struggle. I have helped students with tutoring at the college and high school levels.
I have 4 years of mathematics in the high school level and I have two years of math at the college level. I love teaching Algebra or Calculus. I have developed an online math website for my school to help students with basic algebraic concepts. I have a love for math and science. I love learning and the precision arts such as mathematics. This has driven me to begin in a computer career. I spent almost two decades applying my computer skills. Learning has never stopped for me. But then I love the outdoors and working with my hands. I have taught myself the carpentry trade and the concrete business. A Little Bit About Me...

While substitute teaching various subjects, I discovered my hidden talent – making math understandable for youth. My other gifts include excellent grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension skills. I don’t have a teacher’s certificate, however, and am currently choosing not to substitute, but I miss the personal interaction with students who want to learn.
