I have worked with students with a vast range of learning styles and educational backgrounds. I like to work with students to figure out what method works best for them.
Hello! I am a research chemist working at Clemson University. I received my doctorate at University of Chicago in 2019 in the physical sciences. I tutored Math, Science, Algebra, Calculus, Chemistry, and Biology. I taught college level General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry classes as well as tutoring 1-on-1 and group sessions. I also have experience working with elementary and middle school students working as a nanny, helping with homework, literature, writing, math, and science projects. Over the summer I teach chemistry courses with High School Students training them in materials chemistry and scientific research. I am available afternoons / evenings / weekends. My comments on tutoring Bio Chemistry : Received an A in Biochemistry at Clemson University in the Fall of 2010

I have a passion for teaching others and spreading my knowledge- I enjoy not only helping a student to understand, but to also become a mentor. I have been tutoring since middle school, and throughout high school. Since I have been in college, I have been eager to tutor again. My knowledge is mostly in high school and college biology, anatomy, and physiology. Throughout college, many of my friends and classmates came to me with questions or help, because I am good at simplifying the material and making it understandable on a basic level.
I am a visual learner and work well with other visual learners. I simplify the topic for the student for easy explanation and understanding, so we can then build upon the foundation for more in-depth understanding. I enjoy using diagrams and still have all of my resources from high school and college to utilize.
