Anything can be achieved with dedication and the right help

I am direct without being overpowering. I have learned how to help the student come to the right answer compared to explaining why the answer is what it is. Talking them through the thought process of the problem is the first step to solving the problem on their own.
I have been a math resource tutor at my high school for the past year. I really enjoying helping people using my strengths in the math and sciences. I have also experienced tutoring first hand. My comments on tutoring Spanish : I teach beginner Spanish to students wanting to learn a new language.

Teaching has always been my passion. From babysitting to leading summer camps, I have always enjoyed helping children learn. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with English as a Second Language (ESL) and Spanish endorsements. I also have a Master's degree in Reading. My B.A. is in History and Social Behavioral Science. This encompasses Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Economics and Political Science. After graduating second in my class with a 3.9 GPA, I started working for the Art Institute of Chicago. In the time that I’ve spent tutoring Spanish, what I’ve always found to be true is that in order to succeed, a student needs to have an approach to the material that works for them on a personal level. Whether that means amassing small mountains of flash cards or listening to Spanish-language podcasts or trying to equate Spanish verb conjugations with English, every student has something that works for them.
