As a premedical student, my main focus during college was on biology, chemistry, physics, and math. Through extensive lab work, I have also learned how to write scholarly reports. During my undergraduate years, I have taught inorganic and organic chemistry to sophomore and junior undergraduate students for 4 months. Also, I have taught elementary and middle school students about labs in Birmingham's McWane Center. Currently, I work for Examkrackers, which is a company that focuses on the MCAT exam. I prepare and teach lectures to students who hope to get into medical school. Children are one of the greatest joys in life because I get to watch them learn and understand the world around them. Children are sponges that soak up all the knowledge present to them. My teaching style is hands on. I want children to learn not just by a book but by practical application. When children discover material through experiences they are more likely to remember and be better prepared for life.
